Statement of Purpose -

Striving for Sustainable Excellence in Care

  • To provide homes (non-institutional) for adults with learning disabilities
  • To respect the religion, ethnic background and traditions of all those in our care, and encourage and provide the means to enable our residents to maintain and build upon those links
  • To enable individuals to have the opportunity to develop their potential , to manage their own lives where possible, to participate in local community affairs and to enjoy a wide range of day activities organised by and for them and others within the neighbourhood
  • To provide such services and facilities that respect individual rights, needs and dignity whilst accepting that some individuals may need assistance to make an informed decision
  • To provide the training and support expected of a responsible employer dedicated to equal opportunities for those working within the organisation
  • To continue to re-assess and constantly review the quality and best value of care, support and facilities provided
  • To show care, consideration, courtesy and realism in our dealings with parents, relatives, neighbours and friends of our residents
  • To work and co-operate with other organisations, statutory and voluntary, responsible for the welfare of those with learning and other disabilities
  • To actively promote our fundamental belief in the unique importance of each individual resident and their right to control their own lives and to receive respect, equality and support in life
  • To make every effort to achieve greater and better provisions for those with learning disabilities and promote greater understanding within the community
