We are delighted that our Head of Operations, Alison O’Meara has been recognised at the National Finals of The Great British Care Awards.

In October, Lisieux Trust received recognition in nine categories at the regional version of the awards, covering all the West Midlands.

The awards pay tribute to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

There are 21 awards categories available for recognition, focusing on all areas of the social care sector, whether residential care, specialist services, older people, or home care.

Alison was named the winner of the ‘Putting People First’ award in the West Midlands for demonstrating an innovative approach to empowering people to have more control over the support they need in their lives.

Through winning this award, Alison received a nomination for the national award, competing against the winners from the other 11 regions across the UK.

The National Finals took place on Friday 17th March at the ICC in Birmingham and the Lisieux team attended on the night to proudly celebrate Alison’s brilliant achievement.
