Lisieux Trust Recognised at National Learning Disability & Autism Awards
We are delighted that Lisieux Trust has been recognised in five categories at the 2023 National Learning Disability & Autism Awards.
The annual awards provide a unique opportunity to celebrate the successes of the people teams and businesses who positively impact the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
The winners in England & Scotland were named at a ceremony on Friday 30th June, at the ICC in Birmingham, with the Lisieux Trust team in attendance on the evening to cheer all our incredible nominees on.
There were 17 different award categories, representing all areas of care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, from frontline staff to care managers and those individuals who have impacted in other areas, such as training and innovation.
The Trust was shortlisted for the Employer Award, whilst there were also individual nominations in multiple categories, including Mikey Gavin for ‘The Frontline Leader Award’, Denise Barratt for ‘The Manager Award’, Brendan Griffiths for the ‘Senior Manager Award’ and Nicola Rosa for ‘The Newcomer Award’.
Everyone at Lisieux Trust is extremely proud of our nominees, particularly Nicola Rosa, who we wanted to give a special shout out to as a newcomer to the care sector.
Nicola joined the Lisieux team just over six months ago, and it is a real testament to her commitment and dedication to the role that she has received this national award nomination so early in her time with the Trust.
Speaking about the national recognition the team have received our CEO Jessica Alsop-Greenacre said: “I could not be prouder of Lisieux Trust and our fabulous nominees for these awards! Lisieux Trust truly is a special organisation because of the people that work here; without the passion, experience, and commitment of our employees, it wouldn’t be possible to provide the care and support we do.
I love that these amazing employees have been recognised for the incredible work they do in these nominations! Well done everyone!”
