Recently, we purchased a new care home on Vesey Road in Sutton Coldfield, where we welcomed 8 new residents and twelve employees.

We were all very excited to expand the Lisieux Trust family and to begin making a difference at this new property. Initially, when we went to view the house, our intention was just to buy it. However, once we met all the wonderful residents, we wanted to offer them the opportunity to become part of our Lisieux Trust community. After many months of liaising and planning, we’re thrilled to announce that this is now a reality.

Our CEO, Jess Alsop-Greenacre said, “There is a lot of work to do at the home because the Care Quality Commission had a lot of concerns while it was operated by the previous provider. However, this has only motivated us, as we love a challenge, and we think it’s worth it because we believe becoming part of Lisieux Trust will make a real difference to the lives of the residents at Vesey Road and their loved ones.”

As the new residents adjust to being a part of Lisieux, our team will be implementing changes over the next several months to the property to improve the current CQC grade. Both of our current residential homes (Lisieux and Francis House) have a CQC rating of ‘good’, and we are positive that we will be able to transform this new home.
