Residents Attend First Online Safety Workshop
In a move to ensure the digital well-being of all its residents and tenants, Lisieux Trust hosted the first of three Online Safety Sessions at its Head Office this week. The session, led by Head of Operations Alison O’Meara, brought together a diverse group eager to enhance their knowledge and skills in navigating the online world securely.
“The internet is a wonderful tool, and it’s vital to all our lives, but people also have to understand the pitfalls they face on the World Wide Web,” emphasized a spokesman. “With this guiding principle, participants all took part in a fun workshop that covered a range of topics including recognizing online threats and safeguarding personal information. The trust staff present were all tremendously impressed by the level of knowledge that was already on show from those who attended.
Following this hugely successful inaugural session, Lisieux Trust is poised to host additional, specially tailored events in November and December. The initiative underscores Lisieux Trust’s unwavering commitment to empowering its residents and tenants with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital landscape securely.
And they were joined by a special guest or two….see below!
“We believe that education is the key to creating a safer online experience for everyone,” noted a spokesperson from Lisieux Trust. “Through these tailored events, we aim to equip our residents and tenants with the tools they need to protect themselves in an increasingly digital world.”
