Event: Tales of Lockdown Exhibition

Thursday 27th January 2022 – Saturday 29th January 2022

Tales of Lockdown

The UK lockdowns hit us all hard. For some of our residents and tenants, this period of time represented one of the most challenging points of their lives. We wanted to give our people the opportunity to channel their negative experience into something beautiful, which is how the Tales of Lockdown exhibition came about.

21 of our residents and tenants have taken on the exciting challenge to put their feelings into art; art of which is to be exhibited at the Direct Art Action gallery in Sutton Coldfield town centre.

Here, you can expect to see beautiful paintings, crafts, creations, and written word all representing the thoughts and feelings of our people.

For many of our residents and tenants – as adults with a learning disability, autism, or both – arts and crafts is their preferred method of expression. We’re really excited to see their final pieces.
