The best way to describe what Becky does here at Lisieux Trust is….
She works alongside Brendan Griffith as registered manager for the supported living services. She manages four properties. Day to day her job involves ensuring that the individuals we support have the highest quality of life and have all the support they need to achieve this.
A brief summary of Becky’s background is…
She has been working in care for her whole career, after changing her mind and studying care instead of taking the offer to study dance.
She started as a volunteer for day services and worked her way up through different companies from support worker, team leader, deputy manager to registered multi-site management. Prior to coming to Lisieux Trust she worked within supported living manager roles and residential services.
All these services specialised in learning disabilities and mental health. Most recently she supported a new company to start up their care service and build and grow the company.
Throughout the years she has completed her BA honours Degree in health and social care management and policy specialising in long term conditions and is also qualified as a Health and Social care trainer.
In her spare time, Becky loves to…
Spend time with her two beautiful girls and a beautiful soft rottweiler called Rex, who keeps her on my toes. She loves spending time with them and taking them out, enjoying the outdoors. She also love musicals and the theatre.
Three things on Becky’s bucket list are…
Fly in a hot air balloon
Buy a Canal boat and wake up somewhere different every day
See an opening night musical on Broadway
Becky’s life motto is…
“There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.”
