The best way to describe what Charlotte does here at Lisieux Trust is….
Charlotte supports Dee at Lisieux Trust’s residential service, Lisieux House. As part of her role, Charlotte has to wear many hats, determined by the varying needs of the residents she supports. In essence, she works tirelessly to ensure the residents of Lisieux House are happy and well cared for, and that staff are appropriately trained to support them.
A brief summary of Charlotte’s background is…
Charlotte joined the Trust as a support worker, supporting our residents and tenants in both our residential and supported living settings. Along the way, she has achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and, through her experience, has made her way to the Deputy Manager role. She has now recently enrolled onto her Level 5 certificate, too!
Charlotte has gained a lot of experience in the care sector since working within Lisieux Trust and supporting our tenants and residents. She has Asperger’s syndrome herself, which has taught her that all disabilities are unique and that not all disabilities are recognisable. She believes what you need is the experience of getting to know the individual to ensure that you can tailor to their needs with a person-centred approach.

Our tenants bring Charlotte so much joy and laughter. She loves being able to watch them have the best quality of life possible, by making sure that their choices are listened to and respected.
In her spare time, Charlotte loves…
Socialising with friends and family, annoying her partner, camping, visiting the coast, and enjoying cheese and wine!
Three things on Charlotte’s bucket list are…
1 – Save up to purchase a house that she can turn into a home.
2 – Learn about textiles so she can make her own curtains, outfits, etc.
3 – Most importantly, be happy!
